Lift Slad Floating Floor System

Concept of Floor Isolation

Floor Lift Mount consists of a resilient decoupler, cast housing, and levelling bolt. The housing incorporates two opposing side lugs for carrying concrete rebar. The levelling bolt is screwed into a threaded opening in order to lift or “jack-up” the concrete slab into final position i.e., floating the floor. Together with Perimeter Isolation Board, poly sheeting, and perimeter sealant, it is a complete floor isolation system.

After installation of the jack-up system, the noise in the adjacent area against the noise of the A.H.U room should have 48dB of transmission loss at 250Hz. (Refer to “Transmission Loss Table”: no glass wool in the 50mm gap) The floating floor must have a 50mm air gap and at least a 100mm-thick steel-concrete slab.
